Mary Lou Ebersold 81, died Thursday September 5, 2024 with her family by her side.

She was born February 11, 1943, the eldest of 7 children to the late Gilbert and Mary Rita Curran Keller, who belonged to St Martin of Tours Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, and brother-in-law Bob Osborn, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband Carl Ebersold.

Mary Lou was happily married for 37 years and raised 3 children. She was a member of St Bernard Catholic Church.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was an employee of Kmart and a care giver. She enjoyed fishing, especially out fishing her husband. She enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds in her back yard. She loved her grandchildren and was extremely proud of them all and would tell everyone their accomplishments. She was happiest surrounded by her family at home and her extended family at camp.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Nelson (Larry), Stephen Ebersold (Kim), and Mary Beth Druien (Gordy); grandchildren, Myranda Heines (Isaac), Taylor Muench (Michael), Amanda Nelson, Myrissa Druien, Dylan Ebersold, Mykayla Druien; and siblings, Sharon Osborn, Mary Margaret Klein (Bob), Bob Keller (Joyce), Daniel Keller (Betty) Theresa Lieffring, Joyce Kippes (Rick), along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass is 10am Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 7005 Tangelo Dr, Louisville, KY with burial in St. Bernard Parish Cemetery in Frenchtown, IN.  Visitation is 3-8pm (including a celebration of life service at 7pm) Monday, September 9, 2024, at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY.
