Mary Lee Buckner, 84, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026. She was born on September 11, 1942 to the late Sterley and Willie Buckner.

She was a homemaker, member of the Huntington Park Kingdom Hall, graduate of Fern Creek High School class of 1960.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheri Yvette Grundy; son, Sterle Lynn Trice; and siblings, Sterley Buckner, Jr, Eugene Smith, Richard Buckner, Lenard Buckner, David Buckner, Georgia Eugene, Mattie Hart, William Buckner.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Trice, III (Stephanie), and Leonar Trice, Sr. (Monique), grandchildren, Valita Jones, Jazmin Trice, Tyana Colbert, Leonar Trice, Jr, Wictoria Willis, Curtis Dennis, David Williams, Dedera Williams, Arissa Tatum, Leeann Wade, Darryl Trice, William Jones, Jason Thomas, and Darius Scott; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; and siblings, Pearl Gray, Barbara King.

Her memorial service is 2:00pm Saturday, October 17 at Huntington Park Kingdom Hall, 5301 Garden Green Way, Louisville, KY 40218. It will be viewable on Zoom meeting ID: 821 7978 5721    Passcode: 812007
