Martin Jerome Probus, 74, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

He was born on July 19, 1950, son of Bootie and Janet Probus.  Marty was a graduate of Ahrens Trade School and a jack-of-all-trades.  He retired from maintenance at Louisville Bedding.  After retirement, he continued work as a handyman.

In addition to his parents, Marty was preceded in death by a grandson; and two great granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Elizabeth Probus; children, Missy Schaber (Tim), Cindy Crouch (Ronnie) and Darrell Hooper (Ninna); sister-in-law, Mary Lyles (Matt); 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and niece, Brooklyn Lyles.

His funeral is 2pm Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is 2-7pm Monday, February 24, 2025.
