Mark Joseph Vitt, 59, died Monday, January 30, 2023 due to a workplace accident.

He was born May 2, 1963, son of Sonny and Barbara Ann Vitt.  Mark was a carpenter and an overall selfless person.  He would help anyone, anytime, even donating the organs he could after his death through KODA.  Mark loved playing golf, the KY Lottery and horse racing.

He is survived by his daughters, Courtney Bowlin (Patrick) and Brianna Vitt; grandchildren, Deacon and Jentry Bowlin; siblings, Troy Vitt, Gina Walls and Lisa Vitt; a host of nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends

Visitation is 2-7pm Friday, February 3, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation will conclude with a short memorial and prayer.

Attendees are asked to wear UK colors to the visitation to commemorate Mark's love of the Big Blue!
