Obituary

Marjorie Dossett Dulaney, 86, joined her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

She was a member of Southeast Christian Church attending the Chapel in the Woods. She was a devoted Christian and used her gifts to be a homemaker of the highest caliber.  Loving like Jesus, she created a warm and welcoming home that sheltered and restored her family, friends and all who came there for love, prayer or sustenance. Marjorie was dearly loved by all who knew her.  Babies and children were drawn to her bright smile and gentle spirit. She truly believed that you were closer to God in a garden than any place else on earth and was known for gardening skills, being able to grow a "flower from a rock".  She was also known her sourdough bread and special coffee cake that people would line up for during Christmas time.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Stephanie Dulaney.

She is survived by her Manual High School sweetheart and husband of 68 years, Paul Dulaney; children who were blessed to call her mother, Cynthia Klausing (Don), Phillip Dulaney (Diane), and Kyle Dulaney (Courtney); grandchildren who loved their Mamaw more than words can say, Stephanie (Josh), Brett (Rachel), Jonathan, Derek, Jeff, Sarah and Sam; beloved great grandchildren; and brothers, William, David and Richard Dossett.

Her funeral is 1:00pm Tuesday, January 28 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is 3:00-7:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
