Margaret White, 78, died Thursday, October 15, 2026.

She was born Margaret Jo Hannas on July 12, 1948 in Nelsonville, Ohio. Margaret retired from the KY Higher Education Student Loan Corporation where she worked as a supervisor. Earlier in her life, she was a barber and a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence White; and daughter, Leslie Couch.

Survivors include her devoted son, Tony White; grandchildren, Eli White, Iesa Couch and Sophia Couch; and brother, Jerry Crane.

Her funeral is 10am Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40291 with burial in Crosswater Gardens. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday.
