Margaret Alvera Dugan Dotson of Ekron, Kentucky passed from this world into the arms of our Father, Jesus Christ on Friday, October 14, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Chester Dugan, her mother, Melissa Hallie Dugan, and her husband of 57 years, the love of her life, Kenneth Harold Dotson. Alvera was the baby and the last survivor of 11 brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind her two sons, Joe Redmon (Diane) and Steve Redmon (Ruth) along with five grandchildren, Melissa Pace (Beau), Leslie Clemmons (Chad), Ken Redmon (Samantha), Monica Coates (Gary) and Jamie Carter, twenty-three great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.

Her funeral is 2pm Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is after 11am until the time of the service.
