Mae Wick, 95, died Thursday, December 29, 2022.

She was born Zelma Mae Richard on July 11, 1927 in Washington County, Ky, daughter of Louis and Nora Alice Bowen Richard.

Mae was retired from Enro Shirt Company and was a member of West Broadway Baptist Church and O.E.S. Victory Chapter #447.

In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wick; and daughter, Freda Simpson.

She is survived by her children, Mike Carney, Patricia Durham (Ron) and Susan Childress (Wendell); grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah and Noah Childress, Scott Simpson (Emily), Jared and Chris (Jessica) Carney, Candace and Brandon (Callie) Durham, and Cristin Parson (Brian); and several great grandchildren.

Her funeral is 2pm Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.  Visitation is 2-8pm Wednesday and after 11am Thursday until the time of the funeral.
