Mae E. Holland, 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. She was born on July 11, 1942.

Mae retired from GE Appliance Park. She cherished spending time surrounded by her family. She loved to travel, cook, listen to music, watch NASCAR, shop, play Yahtzee and Scrabble, read, and work on puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Holland; daughter, Debra Hilton; parents, Leo Miles and Alene Pierson; sister, Beverly Finch; brothers, James (JD) Miles and Randy Miles; and grandson, Rustin Ellis.

She is survived by her brother and caregiver, Harold Miles; children, Christi Wheatley (Bobby), Susan Davis (Marvin), and Jerry Wayne Johnson (Lisa); grandchildren, Amy Ellis, Amanda Atherton (Chris), Nick Ellis, Rachael Thomas (Anthony), Casey Schanick (Jake), Chris Davis (Chrissy), Robert Davis (Cortney), Tiffany Salsman (Josh), and Kristi Davis; nine great-grandchildren, Wessley, Destiny, Aiden, Jax, Macie, Eric, Jake, Emma, and Lincoln; 10 step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, Halo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, September 21, at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd. The funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, September 22, at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
