Lucille Anderson, 90, passed peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

She was born on February 26, 1933 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, daughter of Andy and Ethel Anglin Cox.

With her husband, Lucy founded and operated Fern Creek Funeral Home as a licensed funeral director.  She was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church and Fern Creek Woman's Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Robinson; and brothers, Charles, John, Andrew and Luther Cox.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William S. "Bill" Anderson; daughter, Gayle Anderson Yates; son and daughter in law, Bill and Karen Anderson; grandchildren, Kelly Osborne (Phil), Sarah Yates Jenkins (Adam), and Sid Anderson; and great grandchildren, Anderson Jenkins and Annalise Osborne.

Her funeral is 3pm Sunday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is 2-6pm Saturday, concluding with a vigil service and after 1pm Sunday until the time of the funeral.  Private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
