Lorena C. Banda, 86, of Weirton, WV died Friday, April 14, 2023.

She was born October 31, 1936, daughter of the late Willard and Martha Klimansky) Virtue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Banda, to whom she was married on September 21, 1958 in Weirton and who passed away July 14, 2018; and a sister, Wanda Gaston.

She is survived by her son, Doug M. Banda (Laura) of Louisville, KY; daughter, Carole L. Banda of Shepherdsville, KY; grandson, Doug Banda of Kirkland, WA; granddaughter, Sarah Russ (Matt) of Louisville, KY; and siblings, Mrs. Floyd (Betty Lou) Lancia, of Ft. Wayne, IN, Gary Virtue (wife, Dorothy)  of Follansbee, WV, and Larry Virtue (wife, Wendy) of Morgantown, WV.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
