Lola J. Freedman, 97, died at home peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

She was born Lola Jeanette Coy on October 21, 1927, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Peak Coy. Lola was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Lola was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and Queen's Daughters Mother and Infant Program. She volunteered her time at her church in the Women's Club and the Atlar Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Freedman; daughter, Laura Regenauer; and great great grandchild, River Krieg.

Survivors include her children, Tim Freedman (Becky), Ruth Ohlendorf (Paul) and Joe Freedman; grandchildren, Joanna, Jeffrey, Zachary and Marcie Ohlendorf, Melissa Rowe and Joseph and Elizabeth Freedman; great grandchildren, Zahra and Cyrus Ghazi, Abigail Krieg and Emily, Lola, Madeline and Steven Rowe; and great great grandchildren, Charlie Krieg, Teddy Krieg, Camila Constantino, Bernie Constantino Jr., and Jimmy Higgs.

Funeral mass is 10am Friday, June 6, 2025 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky
