Isaura "Lisa" Startek, age 70, passed away peacefully in her sleep after her courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, surrounded by love.

Born on February 6, 1955, in Puerto Rico to Juan Ramon Hernandez and Luz Maria Rosario Hernandez, Lisa lived a life marked by strength, devotion, and deep love for her family. She carried her heritage and values proudly and brought warmth and compassion to every life she touched.

Lisa retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of hard work and dedication. She was a woman of quiet faith and strong values, a lifelong Catholic who found comfort in her beliefs. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and the unwavering love she gave to those around her.

Lisa is deeply missed by her loving husband, Vic Startek; her devoted children, Elizabeth Pace (Justin Churchill), Russell Pace (Heidi), and David Pace; her cherished grandchildren, Xavier Churchill and Arielle Cardone; Step Granddaughter Aria Esposito. Shes remembered by Amanda Zamora, whose close bond with her aunt was built on years of love, guidance, and mutual admiration. Her Dear Sister, Luz Miriam Hernandez, and another beloved niece, Natalie Leonard as well as an abundance of life long friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road. A celebration of Lisa's life will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the funeral home, followed by burial at Crosswater Gardens.

Lisa's kindness, resilience, and the love she so freely gave will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
