Linda Kaufman Stump, 79, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
She was born April 27, 1944, daughter of James William and Alberta Smith Kaufman. Linda was a 1962
graduate of Fern Creek High School and a Christian. She was a devoted homemaker and lovingly cared
for her husband, daughter and granddaughters. She was an avid reader and bargain shopper. Linda
loved spending July on an annual trip to Ormond Beach, Florida taking her daughter and grandchildren.
Gilbert and Linda also enjoyed traveling back and forth from Kentucky to their Florida home throughout
the year.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Edna Brown (John); and brother
in-law, Roger "Bud" Holsclaw.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gilbert D. Stump; daughter, Mindy Gibson (Alex);
grandchildren, Avery and Alexa Gibson and sisters, Carol Holsclaw and Donna Newton (David).
Her funeral is 2pm Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with
entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is after 10am until the time of the funeral.
