Linda Sue Brugh, 75, died Monday, May 18, 2026.

She was a loving wife, mother, baker, crochet artist, woman of Christ, and, most proudly, a grandmother and great grandmother. As well as a graduate of Fern Creek High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Brugh; mother and stepfather, Edna and Bill Schenck; and father, Freddy Cundiff.

Survivors include her children, Ronald Brugh Jr. (Sheri Dench), Jeremy Brugh and Tina Brugh (James Lanham); grandchildren, Trevor Higdon, Reese Lanham, Peyton Dench, Lily Lanham, and Remington Lanham; great grandsons, Arlo Lanham and Atrayius Higdon; and siblings, Sandy Crane and Don Schenck.

Her funeral is 6:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky, with a private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation begins at 3:00 PM Saturday and lasts until the time of the service.

As in servitude in her life and in honor of her dear friend, we ask that all donations are made towards her Sharon Morehead’s burial.

Linda loved everyone and saw the good in them no matter how small the good seemed. Anyone fortunate enough to have known Linda knows her tranquility, generosity, and the grace of her kindness. Linda is resting peacefully, and leaves behind a warm light in all that knew her.
