Lazaro Cuellar Oliva, 60, died Monday, June 24, 2024.

He was born September 28, 1963 in Havana, Cuba, son of Isidra Cuellar and Hilda Oliva.  Lazaro was a member of Fern Creek Chrisitan Church. He was a man of many skills and worked hard helping all people in need: family, friends and even those he did not know.

He was a man of God that even though in the middle of his affliction he never denied God's plan for his life. He served and worshipped God until the end and never denied our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A son of God and a patriot, he was ever thankful of the USA that opened up the door for him and his family. He loved his family immensely.  Greatest husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. He was a humble, kind, strong, and selfless man.
You will forever live in the hearts of your family and friends. You will always be remembered. We love you so much.

Lazaro is survived by his wife, Lucrecia Alcover Machado; children, Ivan Ferro, Richard Ferro, Michael Cuellar, Laurent Cuellar Alcover and Laura Cuellar Alcover; grandchildren, Jordan Cabello, Scarlet Ferro, Jonah Cuellar and Jocelyn Cuellar; and brother, Oreste Cuellar Oliva.

His funeral is 11am Thursday, June 27, 2024 at fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with 3pm burial at Penn Run Memorial Park.  Visitation is after 10am Thursday.
