Kristen "Hopie" Mohr, 31, died Saturday, February 21, 2026.

She was born Kristen Hope Morgan on July 6, 1994, daughter of Christopher Shawn Morgan and Angela Layman.  Hopie was a graduate of Southern High School.  She worked as a traveling bartender, primarily at B.J.'s Sports Pub and most recently at M.G.'s.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sharon & James Eakins, Steve Layman and Jimmy Morgan; mother-in-law, Hazel Fenwick; and sister, Keshia Smith

Survivors include her husband, Devin Wayne Mohr; children, Devin, Jr., Avery, Jordan, McKenna and Braxton Mohr; father, Shawn Morgan (Nancy); mother, Angela Layman; grandmother, Martha "Nana" Hamilton; father-in-law, David Fenwick; and siblings, Kamryn Eakins and Andrew, Matthew, and Joshua Smith.

Her funeral is 12pm Monday, March 2, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 10am-8pm Sunday, March 1, 2026.
