Kenneth Lee Benzel, 92, died Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

He was a retired design engineer for Industrial Carbide Saw & Tool, a member of Southeast Christian Church and the Louisville Deaf Association.  He enjoyed daily exercise at First Baptist Church, Mt. Washington.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Benzel; and two grandchildren.

Surviving are his daughters, Martha Thompson (Jim), Linda Newton (Gary) and Marion Kirkpatrick (Danny), and Kathleen Stasel (James); six grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

His funeral is 10am Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is 2-7pm Friday, October 21, 2022 and for one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.
