Kathy Mallory, 77, died Friday, September 5, 2025.

She was born December 9, 1947 in Springfield, Kentucky, daughter of Robert W. and Louise Montgomery McPherson.  Kathryn was a graduate of St. Catherine High School and a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.  She experienced a variety of occupations: secretary for the City of Louisville, teacher's aide at St. Gabriel School, secretary for Bullitt County EMS, EMT, and medical equipment sales.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Mallory; daughters, Elizabeth Louise Hampton and Patricia Jane Juliot; grandchildren, Mallory and Christopher (Sarah) Hampton and Kathryn and Matthew (Kaci Huff) Lawhorn; great grandchildren, Ben, Hayden and Mahayla Hampton, Kynleigh, Kyra and Kyngston Lawhorn and Katie Rakes.

Funeral mass is 10am Thursday, September 11, 2025 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is 2-7pm Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky.
