For over 36 years, she coordinated projects that provided comfort to patients, including the Pillow Blitz, where her team sewed over 100,000 surgical pillows. She was honored with multiple awards for her dedicated service including the "Volunteer of the Year Award" and the inaugural "Boomerang Award", recognizing exemplary kindness.
Kathleen was a devoted member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mt. Washington, KY, since 1970. For decades, she volunteered on multiple committees, including the Bereavement Committee, participated in church picnics and other fundraising events.
