Julius McGavock "Mac" Hardin, 72, died Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Mac was born January 23, 1952, son of Julius McGavock, Sr. and Martha Sharon Hardin.

He was a graduate of Fern Creek High School, a member of Fern Creek United Methodist Church, and worked for a time at General Electric Appliance Park.

Surviving are his sons, Jeremy Hardin (Amanda) and Cory Hardin (Tiffany); grandchildren, Brett and Lainey Hardin; and best buddy, Valarie Carter.

Mac's funeral is 1pm Monday, October 14, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with  burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is after 11am Monday until the time of the service.
