Julie Ann Coots, 62, died Monday, May 18, 2026.

She was born May 13, 1964 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, daughter of Cletus and Sherry Sprague Wagahoff. Julie worked in accounting for The Kentucky Lottery.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck Coots; stepdaughter, Jennifer Thacker; granddaughter, Avery Capito; mother, Sherry Armbruster (Lee); and brothers, Mike (Lisa), Tony (Jude) and Scott (Mel) Wagahoff.

Her funeral is 1pm Monday, June 1, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, Kentucky. Visitation is after 10am until the time of the service.
