Joyce E. Vogt, 86, entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

She was born Joyce Evelyn Nuttall on May 28, 1936, daughter of Paul and Evelyn Yann Nuttall.  With her husband, John, Joyce owned and operated Vogt Vault Company.  She was a registered nurse and graduate of Kentucky Baptist School of Nursing and Fern Creek High School.  She was past president of Jefferson County Homemakers and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Southeast Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Vogt; and siblings, Mary Reichle and Charles Nuttall.

She is survived by her husband, John P. Vogt; children, Diane Day (Steve) and Michael Vogt (Carina Martenson-Vogt); grandchildren, Victoria Davis (Scott), Austin Day (Sierra Cothran), Madeleine Vogt and Jonathan Vogt (Sadie); great grandchildren, Lane Davis and Makenzie Vogt; and siblings, Carolyn Price, Bill Nuttall and Larry Nuttall.

Her funeral is 2pm Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is 2-6:30pm Monday and after 12pm Tuesday until the time of the service.
