Joyce Naughton Lesch entered the Gates of Heaven on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

A graduate of Mercy Academy and a member of St. Edward and St. Gabriel Catholic Churches, she spent her working years in retail as well as L&N Federal Credit Union at the downtown branch.

Starting her commitment to her faith early in her life, Joyce was known to walk herself to church as a young child. She was a proud graduate of Mercy Academy and made sure the values she learned there were carried on with her throughout her life. Joyce will be remembered as a fun, sociable, caring woman who never let her youth escape her. Her love of sunshine, snowmen, and clowns will live on through the many friends and family she loved sitting around and laughing with. Her carefree attitude, sharp wit, and willingness to quickly befriend anyone made her a crowd favorite at the many social circles she was included in.

Survivors include her husband  of nearly 45 years, Tom; children, Bryan and Brittany; granddaughter, Kenlie; brothers-in-law, Rick and Dan (Gail); and siblings, Larrie Magruder (David) and Ron Livers (Janice).

Mass of Christian Burial is 10am Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with entombment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 1-7pm Monday, April 27, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home.
