Joyce Hodge, 95, died Sunday, January 26, 2025.
She was born Joyce Graham Chidgey on May 14, 1929 in London, England, daughter of Adrian and Nellie Green Chidgey.  Joyce was a homemaker and Nanny. She also managed the gift shop at the Louisville Zoo. She was very active in her children's lives. She was President of the PTA, Band Mom, and Scout leader.  She was a proud Mom, Grandma or Nanny at the many performances, events or games of loved ones.  She was a member of Fern Creek United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Hurley Hodge.
Survivors include her children, Sandy Bowman (Jay) and Joe Hodge (Janet); beloved grandchildren, Lexi Bowman and Craig Hodge (Kelsey); and great grandchildren, Ezra, Eden, and Jude Hodge. " Nanny's kids " were always a major part of her life: Kristy, Lauren, Andrew, Ashley, Taylor and Connor.
Her funeral is 6pm Friday, January 31, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private entombment.  Visitation is after 2pm Friday until the time of the service.
