Josephine Grace Norville passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, at the age of 89. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Harry and Josephine Hopkins, she later made her home in Sarasota, Florida, and most recently Louisville, Kentucky.

Josephine was small in stature but had an enormous heart. A devout Catholic through and through, she never stopped praying and lived her life rooted in faith, love, and quiet strength. She found joy in quilting, cheering on the Florida State Seminoles, and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving sons, Paul (Debbie) and Steve (Donna); her grandchildren, Kristin (John), Michael (Adrienne), Laura (Conor), and Matt (Ali); her great-grandchildren—Mason, Emmy, June, Audrey, Amelia, Owen, Liliana, and Wesley—who were her pride and joy; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy and Rita Hopkins, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, David P. Norville; her siblings, Bill, Marilyn, and Ray; and her beloved son, David J. Norville.

Josephine now rests in eternal peace, reunited in Heaven with those she loved, held forever in God's loving arms.

A Memorial Service will be held on February 9, 2026, at 6:30 PM at Saint Gabriel Catholic Parish, 5505 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40291.

A memorial and burial service will also be held at Incarnation Catholic Parish in Sarasota, Florida, at a later date.
