Joseph Robert Carrico, 88, died Monday, April 1, 2024.

He retired from General Electric after 35 years of service then worked for The Kroger Co. for an additional 10 years.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Magdelene Carrico; son, Robert Joseph Carrico; daughter, Margaret Ann Carrico; and siblings, Bert and Marie Carrico.

He is survived by his daughters, Janey Miller (Leo) and Pamela LaRocco (Ronnie); grandchildren, Jeremy Hand (Anita), Leo Miller IV (Crystal), Stephanie Miller, Jackie Miller Hensley (Patrick), Justin Hand and Joey Hand; eight great grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Dell Wimsatt, Pat Carrico, Ray Carrico, Paul Carrico, Betty Cornish (Dave), Lois O'Daniel, Louis Carrico (Donna), Rose Spalding (Jimmy), Jerry Carrico (Debby), and Ronnie Carrico (Alice); and sister-in-law, Carolyn Carrico.

Funeral mass is 10am Friday, April 5, 2024 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is 3-7pm Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
