Jordyn Nichole Johnson, 17, died Friday, July 7, 2023 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.

She was born January 17, 2006, daughter of Greg and Erin Johnson.  Jordyn was a rising senior at Louisville Male High School.  She was a member of the National Honor Society and recently received the Holly Star (employee of the month) at Hollister Company, her first job.

Jordyn was a talented artist.  She also had a love for all needy animals and would often visit a local shelter to share her time with them.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Danny Darnell.

In addition to her parents, Jordyn is survived by a sister, Aubree Johnson; boyfriend, Blake Smith; best friend, Lindsey Kramer; grandparents, Theresa Fenwick, Charlotte and Sam Johnson, and Joe Stutzenberger; aunt, Lauren Hill; uncle, Chris Johnson; first cousins, Maddy Hall and Jaxon Hill; a large extended family; and many friends.

A memorial service honoring Jordyn is at 3pm on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 12pm Friday until the time of the service.
