John David Parrish, Sr., 94, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

John was born January 14, 1930 in Boston, KY, son of John William and Inez Stark Parrish.

He was a retired rates manager in the trucking industry, an Army veteran, a former member of the old St. Luke Methodist Church and a member of Audubon Methodist Church and Louisville Model A Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Parrish.

He is survived by sons, John D. Parrish, Jr. (Selina) and Kevin N. Parrish (Debbie); granddaughter, Kristin Worthen (Jeff); and great grandchildren, Harper, Judah and Theo Worthen.

His funeral is 2pm Friday, July 12, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private burial.  Visitation is after 12pm that afternoon until the time of the service.
