John "Mickey" Owens, 76, died Monday, October 17, 2022 in his home, surrounded by his family.

He was a classic car enthusiast and passionate artist.  He worked in many mediums, his favorite being pencil drawings.  Mickey retired from Delta Airlines and was a 1964 graduate of Fern Creek High School.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Hoben Owens; children, Brian Owens, Sandy Bailey (Chris) and Jasper Owens (Verity); seven grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

A memorial visitation celebrating his life will be held from 1-4pm Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
