John Lewis Meyers, 89, died Friday, September 9, 2022.

He was born October 24, 1932 in Spring Lick, Kentucky.  John retired from Ford Motor Co., served in the U.S. Army and in his later years attended Buckner Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Sue Miller Meyers and is survived by sons, Robert Meyers (Joanna) and Stuart Meyers (Amy); grandchildren, Seth Meyers (Sarah), Eli Jackson, Abby McQuiston (Jeff), Trevor Meyers (Joy) and Marcie Meyers; great granddaughter, Lily Meyers; and siblings, James Meyers, Levyonne Embry and Bill Meyers.

Memorial service is 4pm Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 2pm that afternoon until the time of the service.
