John Andrew (Andy) Penick passed away November 17, 2023, at the age of sixty-three. He made it back to Louisville Kentucky where he was able to make some final farewells. Andy served in and was a very proud Marine, a lover of sports and very active in many. He loved to read and wanted to write a book in the worst way possible but could never get his thoughts in order to start. He was a spinner of yarns for sure and would keep you entertained for hours with his ideas and theories. He loved animals in such a way that he was trusted amongst them. He fostered many, MANY homeless cats and would be absolutely heart-broken when something bad happened to them. He did not show it very well, but he loved his family so much and it did not take much to become family to him either.

Biggest thing to remember, he did it his way!

Andy is survived by his daughter ,Kat Mcwhirt; son, Tyson Fox; grandchildren, Aiden Mcwhirt, Madison Fox, Sophie Fox and Sawyer Fox; father, Robert Penick; and sisters, Lynn Crump and Robin Penick.
