Jewell Hailey, 78, died Sunday, October 2, 2022.

She was born Jewell Alvera Huff on July 3, 1944 in Newport, KY, daughter of John Logan and Mary Myrtle Johnson Huff.  Jewell was a homemaker and attended Highview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Russell G. Hailey; children, Ricky Philpot (Pastora), Steve Dixon (Lana) and Kimberly Smith (Michael); grandchildren, Loren, Lance, Austin, Blake, Hunter, Angela, Julie and Jenifer; 10 great grandchildren and one on the way; and sister, Vickie Loughnane (Tim).

Her funeral is 11am Friday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.  Visitation is 3-8pm Thursday.
