Jerry A. Tyler, 91, died Sunday, March 5, 2023 in Wylie, TX.

He was born July 6, 1931 in Louisville, KY, son of Alfred Gwynn and Violet Kaufman Tyler.

Jerry was a retired vocational instructor at Fairdale High School and a carpenter.  He had a good life and was loved by a very long list of family and friends.  He was one in a million!

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; sons, Steve and Michael Tyler; and sister, Lois Best.

"Pops" is survived by sons, Jerry (Bonnie), Terry (Sharon) and David (Esther) Tyler; daughter-in-law, Joan Tyler; grandchildren;  great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.

His funeral is 12pm Monday, March 13, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery.  Visitation is 12-6pm Sunday, March 12, 2023.
