Jerry G. Mauzy, 89, died Saturday, April 27, 2024.

He was an insurance agent and owner of Mauzy and Associates, Inc.  Jerry was a 1952 graduate of Male High School and served in the U.S. Army.  He was an avid golfer, a horse racing enthusiast and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Veda Rose Mauzy and is survived by his sister-in-law, Myrna Embry; and niece and nephews, Douglas Embry, Jeff Embry, Roger Nash, Paul Nash, Nathan Nash, Jason Webb, Stephanie Webb and Jeremy Webb.

Visitation is 2-7pm Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
