Jean M. Dotson, 100, died Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

She was a retired bookkeeper and member of Summit Heights United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star, Shepherdsville Chapter.  She was a 1940 graduate of the old Louisville Girls High School, a U.S.O. dancer during WWII and former volunteer for Fern Creek/Highview Ministries.

Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, J.O. Dotson and is survived by nieces and nephews, especially Teresa, Cheryl, and Shawn; special friend for over 20 years, Vicky; caregiver, Becky; and very special friends, Rose and John.

Her funeral is 11am Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.  Visitation is after 9am that morning until the time of the service.
