Janice Ann Phipps Koonter, 81, died Saturday, July 19, 2025.
She was an office manager for Home Juice Company, member of Southeast Christian Church, KYANA Car Club, TOPS, an AACA Judge, and formally worked in the bus ministry and Sunday school teacher for Evangel.
She was preceded in death by her, brother-in-law, Michael Covault.
She is survived her husband, Steve Koonter; daughters, Lynette Dury (Jeff), Sonya Sparks (Andy); grandson, Alex and Zach Dury; sister, Paula Covault; brother, Ray Phipps; brother-in-law, Ronnie Koonter (Judy); and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service is 10:00am Friday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation is 3:00-7:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
