James Patrick Foster, 52, died Sunday, July 21, 2024.

He was a construction worker and a proud member of the Louisville Chapter of the Grim Reapers.

He is survived by his children, Robert Sumpter (Sidney), Gregory Foster (Megan Marshall), Caitlyn Foster (John McCutchen), Devan Edwards (Travis), Morgan Foster (Logan Johnson), and Gabriel Foster (Jenny Humphrey); grandchildren, Zariah Hancock, Rylan Edwards and Harlyn Edwards; and wife-in-heart, Dina Alsop Downs.

His memorial service is 2:00pm Sunday, August 4 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd.  Visitation begins at 12:00pm until the time of the service.
