Jackie Schmetzer, 62, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025.
Jacquelyn Ann Schwartz was born on June 3, 1962 to Chester and June Rigsby Schwartz.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and sister Gloria Heaton Lewis.
She is survived by her partner, Cris Gardner; sisters, Karen Hight (Ed Hall) and Sharon Kingren (Ben); her children, Wayne Puckett (Sam); Sharon Oven and Brian Holsapple (Melissa); grandchildren Camille Cradell, Gage Puckett (Abbey), Ayden Puckett, Claire Oven, Jackson Oven and Colin Brown;  great grandchildren, Novalee and Wesson Puckett; nieces, Tina Townley, Karan Vertrees-Britt and Brandy Vertrees; children-in-heart, Jimmy Puckett (Jen), John Puckett, Curtis Williams, Austin Williams and Heather Williams. She also leaves behind a host of loving friends.
Jackie enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking and being with friends and family. Jackie worked as a transportation manager for Active Day adult day center for many years.
Jackie made the ultimate gift of donating her body to medical research.  The family will hold a private memorial to celebrate Jackie's life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society.
