Herbert Lee Conn, 89, died Monday, February 13, 2023.

He was born July 10, 1933, son of Bert and Margaret Riebel Conn.

Herb was an accountant and retired from Kosmos Cement Company.  He served in the U.S. Army.  A sports fan, Herb was especially a supporter of U of L and the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. He enjoyed spending the day at the track and hosted an annual Derby Party.

Herb was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Pound Conn.  He is survived by his children, Linda Brown (Jerry), Brenda Turner (Gregg), Theresa Yocum, Bobby Conn and Bryon Conn; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ed Conn, Barbara Klein, Ginny Conn and Doug Conn (Sharon); and sister-in-law, Gladys Conn.

His funeral is 2pm Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is 12-6pm Friday and after 12pm Saturday until the time of the service.  Burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central will be private.
