Henrietta G. Offutt, 90, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

She was born November 24, 1932 in Simpsonville, KY,  daughter of J.W. and Christine Richardson Goodwin.   In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by her first husband, Chalmay McClain, II; second husband, Charles Offutt; son, Chalmay McClain, III; daughter, Geraldine Grigsby; and siblings, Shirley Kinker, Shelia Goodwin, and Billy Goodwin.

She is survived by her children, Michael McClain (Mary Ann) and Maxine McClain; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and siblings, David Goodwin, Sue Monroe, Mary Jo Perry and Judy Shelburne.

Her funeral is 12pm Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Fern Creek Baptist Church, 5920 Bardstown Road with burial in Valley Cemetery, Taylorsville.  Visitation is 2-7pm Friday, August 11, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
