Helen Hubbard passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 with family at her side.

Helen was born February 1, 1935 in Louisville, KY, daughter of Louis and Mary Lee Quaack.  She retired from General Electric where she worked as a secretary and was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.  Helen was an avid U of L fan and a NY Yankees fan throughout her life.  She enjoyed family, friends, church, music and travel.  Her hobbies included playing cards, bird watching and flower gardening.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hubbard; daughters, Eileen Greenwell and Catherine Hubbard; and brothers, Raymond, Louis Jr., and Melvin Quaack.

She is survived by daughters, Monica Kayse and Melinda Vessels; step daughter, Barbara Pusey (Paul); step son, Ray Hubbard; son-in-law, Don Greenwell; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral mass is 10am Thursday, January 5, 2023 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation is 3-7pm Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
