Gregory Allen WillettGregory Allen Willett, age 68, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on November 26, 1957, Gregory brought a warmth and quick wit to the world that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Gregory grew up in Kentucky and graduated from Union County High School. He was known above all for his fantastic sense of humor, his ability to bring laughter into any room, and his deep love for life's simple pleasures. An avid musician at heart, Gregory loved music and could often be found playing his guitar. When he wasn't playing music, he was happiest casting a line out on the water, spending quiet hours doing what he loved most: fishing.He is survived by his loving son, Skylen Johnson, and his cherished grandson, Taj Johnson. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Wilson and Ben Willett; and his sisters, Veloise Wilson, Gloria Wilson, Martha Wilson, and Gwendolyn Rose.Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Wilson and Sylvester Willett; his brother, Gary Wilson; and his sister, Sylvia Moore.Gregory’s laughter, music, and unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
