Gregory Allen Pineo, Sr., 53, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024. He was a loving father, grandfather, husband, and son. Greg's humor and compassion was felt by everyone he had formed connections with throughout his life. His gift of making others feel welcomed and loved will be treasured in our hearts forever.

He was born October 1, 1971 in Clearwater, Fl, youngest son of David L. and Joan Marineau Pineo. Greg was a Navy Veteran and operations manager for Electronic Arts.

In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Ray Pineo; children, Whitney Wempe (Nicholas), Lauren Ray (Kobe) and Gregory Pineo, Jr.; grandchildren, Elijah and Jordyn Wempe, Cameron French and Sage Ray; and siblings, David Pineo, Jr. (Cathy), Kimberly Nuessemann (Peter) and Debra Pineo.

Funeral with military honors is 10am Monday, December 30, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY followed by memorial visitation until 2pm.  Burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central is private.
