Our Dad, Grant Collins Light, 96, died Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

He was born July 19, 1930 in Camden, New Jersey, son of Jack and Mildred Mustard Light.

Grant was a salesman for Dubois Chemical Company. He was a graduate of DePauw University and a member of Harvey Brown Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tim Humphrey; and brother, John A. Light.

Survivors include his wife, Edith; children, Diana Durham Smith, Jane Howell, Bridget Montgomery, Dan Fleischer, Leslie Carlisle, Karen Vandemerkt and Grant Light; and grandchildren.

He was known by so many "names" by his children and grand/great grandchildren.  Skip, Skippy, Pop, Poppy, Sam, but most of all Dad/Daddy. The kindness he showed to everyone he met, as he walked through life, is now felt by all those he left behind.
