Glenda Burget, 73, died Saturday, March 18, 2023.

She was born Glenda Faye Johnson on March 14, 1950.  Glenda worked for Fisher's Meat Packing Company.  She enjoyed daily Bingo and special celebrations at the casino.  She was an artist and displayed her talents through oil painting, sewing and quilting.

Glenda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles A. Burget, Sr.; daughter, Sandra F. Burget; mother and stepfather, Helen and Franklin Compton; father, Edwin Johnson; and sister, Joann Moore.

She is survived by children, Karen L. Biszmaier (Larry), Nathaniel Burget, and Charles A. Burget, Jr. (Beth); siblings, Carlie Johnson (Susie), Angie Ellis (Devon), Gail Cissell, Sue Hafling (John), Anna Ernspiker, and David Johnson (Brenda); four grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Her funeral is 4pm Friday, March 24, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 12pm Friday until the time of the service. Private burial at a later date in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
