George Edward Laubheimer, celebrated his 90th birthday in heaven on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

He was born in 1936 to the Late George and Ovalaine Laubheimer.

In his early days he umpired for various baseball games. He worked in sales for Lipton Tea and was a catholic. In his spare time he loved watching all sports especially when the University of Louisville was playing.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Laubheimer.

He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Laubheimer and grandson, Jeremy Laubheimer (Sarah Sauer).

His funeral is 6:30pm Thursday at Fern Creek Funeral Home. Visitation is after 3pm until the time of the service. Private burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
