Clarence Eugene "Gene" Stickler, 88, died Sunday, January 1, 2023.

Gene retired from Seneca High School, where he taught English and Theatre.  He was a graduate of Fern Creek High School.  Gene loved the theatre and directed numerous plays at Mummers and Minstrels in Anchorage, Shelbyville Community Theatre, and Clarksville Little Theatre.

Left to cherish his memory are several nieces and nephews; a great niece; and many close and personal friends.

A memorial visitation is being held from 12-4pm on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY.  His ashes will be privately interred with his family at St. Louis Cemetery.
