Edward "Gene" Sharp, 89, died Sunday, July 30, 2023.

He was born January 27, 1934 in Washington County, KY, son of Charles and Mary Katherine Dennis Sharp.

Gene was retired fro LG&E.  He was an Army veteran and a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.  He enjoyed yard work and tending his flowers, woodworking and he was always made sure the birds had plenty of seed.

Survivors include his wife, Lois E. Jones Sharp; daughters, Carmeta Robinson (Rob), Juanita Miller, and Pauline Walters; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and brother, Glen Sharp.  In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by siblings, Pauline Moyers and Joe, Johnnie and Harold Sharp.
