Gary Ray Helm, 67, died Saturday, March 7, 2020.

He was a former warehouse manager for Universal Woods, a 1971 graduate of Jeffersontown High School, a UK fan and loved his dogs.  He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, his dogs and cat, Kitters.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Ray Helm.

He is survived by his wife, the former Davida Hughes; daughters, Melody Binford (Todd), Danielle Lanham (Dan), Amanda Stromberg (Chris) and Erin Ryan (Hunter); grandchildren, Chelsea, Justin, Aubrey, Addisyn, Harper, Owen and Carter; mother, Joan Helm; and siblings, Sharon Helm Benson and David, Bruce and Paul Helm, Jr.

His funeral is 6pm Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 12pm Tuesday until the time of the service. Please bring memories and stories to the visitation to share with his family.
